The museum is located in Prato della Valle, one of the largest squares in Europe (after the Red Square in Moscow) and one of the symbols of Padua. The tram line in direction Guizza-Capolinea South, that also stops on the station, takes you right in front of the museum, crossing the Old Town, on a path that reaches the main monuments of the city: the Cappella degli Scrovegni, the Musei Civici agli Eremitani, and the Basilica di Sant’Antonio, the Orto Botanico and, at last, the magnificent Prato della Valle.
